Aceh Vice Governor Muhammad Nazar expressed Sabang development as a tourist visit to a locomotive or a tourism drive in 23 districts / cities in the province. "I hope the development of tourism in Sabang by the central government should be a motivator for other areas like the east coast and west coast of Aceh," Nazar said in Banda Aceh, Monday (04/10/2010).
It was mentioned by Muhammad Nazar on the sidelines of the opening of Aceh's tourism destinations coordination meeting was also attended by Director General of Tourism Destination Development in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Firmansyah Rahim, the mayor of Sabang Munawarliza Zainal and the Mayor of Banda Aceh mawardy Nurdin.
According to Nazar, the development of tourism sector an important opportunity to increase local revenues are supported by a variety of beautiful natural resources and historical sites exist throughout the Earth's Iskandar Muda.
Nazar continued, every district in Aceh can be programmed cultural calendar, held at least once every two months in order to attract tourists to visit each other throughout the area.
He also hopes the central government to give serious attention to three other areas that the city of Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar and Aceh Jaya, as regional development Sabang area.
